We had such a wonderful experience at Bru Guesthouse! the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay memorable. the cottage was spacious and had beautiful views of the mountains and nearby waterfalls. We especially appreciated the personal touch of roses on the bed. the next morning, when the weather turned bad, the staff allowed us to extend our stay until it was safe to drive. We were so grateful for their flexibility and hospitality. We can't wait to come back!
Nothing bad to say 😊.

I stayed at Bru Guesthouse for one night and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin was cozy and had a great layout with a comfortable bed and plenty of power outlets. The view from the big windows was breathtaking and I could even watch TV from the sofa while enjoying the scenery. The self check-in process was convenient and the individual cube cabins added a cool touch. The location was secluded and private, perfect for a relaxing stay. The manager, Iris, was incredibly friendly and helpful, recommending a hidden waterfall that was a hidden gem. I would definitely choose Bru Guesthouse over a 5-star hotel any day.
I would recommend this hotel.

The self-check-in process is simple and stress-free, allowing for flexibility in arrival time. The surrounding area offers scenic drives and the opportunity to see the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
The lack of nearby restaurant options may be inconvenient for those looking for dining options within walking distance.

Loved the Ikea showroom-like cottages with fine views of the waterfall and glacier. The clean and well-maintained facilities and the great Wi-Fi and TV reception were a plus. The location was perfect for exploring nearby waterfalls. The lock box code provided for check-in made it easy. I highly recommend this unique and cozy retreat in Southern Iceland.

The location of the cottage was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of snow-capped mountains and a beautiful waterfall. It truly felt like being in the middle of a Christmas movie. The staff were incredibly attentive and responsive, even delivering new towels promptly upon request. The cabin itself was well-equipped, with a stocked fridge and all the necessary kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable and the large windows provided a great view. Check-in and check-out were seamless and hassle-free.
Although the cottage was modern and clean, the shower floor was quite slippery and could be hazardous when wet. A shower mat would have been helpful to prevent accidents.

The value we got for our money was really good. The room had the most comfortable beds we've ever experienced, better than any 5-star hotel we've stayed at. The location was perfect, close to attractions yet private and secluded. The staff at Bru Guesthouse were kind and wonderful.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be an expanded menu, offering more choices.

We were amazed by the clean and comfortable cottage, with all the modern facilities we needed. The incredible views of the snow-capped mountains and waterfall made it feel like a scene straight out of a Christmas movie. The staff were very attentive and quickly provided us with anything we needed, like fresh towels. The well-stocked kitchen allowed us to enjoy breakfast on the porch, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. The code for the keybox made check-in a breeze, and the property owner was friendly when we returned the key. Definitely our best stay in Iceland!
Do recommend this hotel.

I had the most very nice stay at a secluded cabin with amazing views. The modern and clean interior made me feel right at home. The big windows allowed me to enjoy the scenery while watching TV from the comfy sofa. The cabin was equipped with plenty of power outlets, perfect for charging all my devices. The self-check-in process was convenient, and I appreciated the privacy of the cabins. It was such a peaceful and quiet retreat, with only the sounds of birds to be heard. And the highlight of my stay was witnessing the magical Northern Lights! The communication with the landlord was excellent, making my experience even more comfortable. I highly recommend this unique and tranquil getaway.
While the cabin was cozy, the sleeping arrangement on the foldout sofa was not the most comfortable. there was a bit of a challenge finding the cabin as it wasn't well marked, and my GPS led me astray.
